Connect an AI assistant

FormStatus provides an AI integration through MCP, the Model Context Protocol. A connected assistant can inspect forms you have access to, read check results and reports, and request a test.

  1. Open Account and select AI Integration.
  2. Choose Generate Key, enter a descriptive Key Name, and select Generate.
  3. Copy the key when it appears. The full key is only shown once.
  4. Follow the setup instructions for your assistant in the AI Integration screen. Use the connection method shown there for your client.

The hosted MCP server address is https://app.formstatus.co/mcp. Different clients use different authentication and connection methods, so follow the current in-app instructions rather than copying a configuration intended for another client.

Try questions such as “Which forms are failing?” or “Show the latest report for my contact form.” Be specific about the form and account when requesting a test.

Keys created in this screen permit reading monitoring data and requesting tests. Treat them as credentials. A requested test submits the real form, so review test data and connected systems before allowing your assistant to run one.

Keep keys out of public repositories, screenshots, recordings, and support messages. To disconnect an assistant or replace an exposed key, use Revoke in AI Integration, then generate a replacement if needed. Revoking a key prevents clients using that key from connecting again.
