Ninja Forms
Use the FormStatus companion plugin when monitoring Ninja Forms on WordPress.
Set up a test
Section titled “Set up a test”- Install and activate the companion plugin.
- Add the public form page and select the correct form.
- Set valid test values for fields with special requirements.
- Enable email testing if you want notification delivery checked, then run a manual test.
Ninja Forms actions and validation
Section titled “Ninja Forms actions and validation”Ninja Forms uses AJAX submission. FormStatus listens for its email action result and validation errors. Review the form’s Emails & Actions settings when submission works but email delivery does not. Confirm the intended Email action is enabled and its conditions match the test data.
The companion integration disables Ninja Forms entry saving for recognized test requests. This does not cancel unrelated actions, such as a CRM or webhook action. Check connected actions before enabling repeated monitoring.
Multi-part forms and anti-spam
Section titled “Multi-part forms and anti-spam”If your form uses the Multi-Part Forms add-on, keep it active and record the full workflow, including each Next action and the final Submit. A recording must cover any conditional fields that are required on the selected path.
The integration includes test-specific handling for Ninja Forms reCAPTCHA and its honeypot field. If a test still encounters a challenge, check for a separate security plugin or additional custom validation. Preserve normal visitor protection while investigating.
For a complex workflow, make a recording and maintain its custom steps. Review the individual check results and available recording after each change.
