Test data and privacy
FormStatus uses the form URL, test configuration, and test values to run a browser visit and record its outcome. Results can include check statuses, error details, email delivery information, and an available screen recording. Diagnostic artifacts may contain information visible on the tested page.
Use test data
Section titled “Use test data”Choose sample values instead of real customer information. Review field overrides, manual recordings, and custom steps before saving or sharing them. A recording file can contain entered values and details of the form workflow.
Tests can submit real forms. Supported WordPress integrations include test-specific email routing and entry handling, but behavior can differ across builders and connected systems. Check downstream CRM, webhook, and automation behavior before testing sensitive workflows.
Email checks
Section titled “Email checks”When enabled, email testing routes supported test notifications to a monitoring inbox to verify delivery. Email processing can include the message content and delivery metadata needed to match a message with its test.
Access and retention
Section titled “Access and retention”Use your account and team access controls to limit who can view configurations and results. Screen recordings are normally retained for 30 days after successful tests and 90 days after failed tests. Other records can have different retention requirements.
Read our privacy policy for the policy governing personal information. Contact support for questions about access, retention, or deletion requests.
